This fantastic moth is often farmed in its native countries. The Papilio ulysses, which belongs to the family of knight butterflies, impresses with the intensity of its coloration and the beautiful shape of its wings. The blue coloring is caused by very special light-reflecting scales on the upper side of the wings, which means that the preparations do not lose their color even over long periods of time.
The installation of the zoological specimen in the front glazed frame was made in a German taxidermy studio.
