Beautifully crafted specimen of a zebra bullhead shark. The rough shark skin can be felt very well. In the swimming direction you can run your hand over the preparation, in the opposite direction your hand immediately hooks on like a Velcro fastener. This typical structure of the shark skin enables the animals to move with significantly less resistance and with less energy. The martial fin spines on the dorsal fins ensure that the animals are "inedible" to predators, especially as smaller young fish.
