The cone-shaped roundabout snail, also known as the conus circle snail or strawberry gun snail (English: Cone Shaped Top Shell), was first described by Gmelin in 1791 and belongs to the family of the Tegulidae. This socket reaches a maximum housing length of about 7 cm and occurs in tropical waters of the Red Sea, in front of the Philippines, Indo-Malaysia and before Vietnam, New Caledonia and Australia.
