Cymbiola Imperialis, known as the imperial crown or imperial crown (English: Imperial Volute), belongs to the family of the Volutidae (roller snails) and the Amoriinae subfamily. This impressive sea snail can reach a length of up to 25 cm and is widespread in the waters of Lake Sulu around the Philippines. The large, elegantly shaped housing, which impresses with its striking color and structure, is particularly striking. A characteristic feature is the shiny brown protoconch at the top of the housing, which gives this snail species a unique appearance.
